Advice too late perhaps…

On our recent visit to the frozen north, I had occasion to sit with my brother and his wife and talk about preparations for the new year, now passed.  He shared the following advice based on firsthand experience.  As his celebration commonly involves coworkers that are sometimes green from college, he has been forced to separate beverage stations not by non-alcohol and alcohol, as I have been like to do, but by blended/available (including sodas, wines, Dewars and Beam) and less available (including Napa reserves his prize Macallan 18).  Why?  In 2015, he intercepted one guest making a “Macallan 18 and coke”, heavy on the Macallan-18.  What are they teaching kids these days?
